Sometimes I hate getting into a series, because waiting for the next book is frustrating, but novels by the same author is different. That's one of the reasons I love Stephen King, he's always got something new and great ideas too.

I recommend the Psy/Changeling series by Nalini Singh especially to paranormal romance fans, though her world has some sci-fi elements. You have three species, Humans, Changelings and Psy (they can't feel emotions).

I have yet to read that series. I do read her Guild Hunter series.

If you're looking for a good mystery suspense type of read with a good twist, I would recommend:

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield

I read this not long ago and thought it was a great read!

I echo that The Thirteenth Tale is a good suspense read.

This may be a bit off topic but I couldn't find the thread for it. I'm looking for the thread where people could post about books they're trying to find and can't remember the title for it and only know like the author and plot details and whatnot. There's a book I found months ago but only remember scant information on and I wanted to try and find it again. Can anyone help me please?

I think this is the thread you're looking for:

Let me in, or Let the Right One In, by John Ajvide Lindqvist is a really good book if your into horror/vampires. He reminds me of Stephen King or Clive Barker to be honest. It also has two movie adaptions, a Swedish one and an American one.

Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith is also really good, and there's a movie adaption now but I can't comment on that yet, I haven't seen it

I just finished the Curse Workers series by Holly Black and they're definitely a great read!

I've been wanting to read Abraham Lincoln Vampire hunter for so long, but wanted to wait until it hit paperback, and it's finally out, and of course I don't have the $$ for it!

I recommend these two series for anyone that loves fantasy and/or children's

Green Hill series (Under the Green Hill & Guardian of the Green Hill) by Laura L. Sullivan

The second book especially was one of the best children's books I've ever read (and that says something). The imagination, characters, story, pacing--everything was spot on!

The WondLa trilogy (The Search for WondLa & A Hero for WondLa) by Tony DiTerlizzi

Blend of sci-fi and fantasy, anyone who loves art and story will love this.
