That's a very good book. If you want a story about just Han and Leia, I also recommend Tatooine Ghost by Troy Denning. It ties in the prequels so Leia and Han get a glimpse of Anakin when he was a child, before he became Darth Vader. It takes place after Courtship, so if you read that book and want more Han and Leia, I recommend that.

A great Darth Maul book I recommend is Darth Maul Shadowhunter by Michael Reeves, one of my favorite SW authors. That particular book is the setup for the Coruscant Nights trilogy which I haven't read but have heard good things about.

Thanks for all the recommendations! I'm also interested in Luke's story but I have a feeling that would involve way more books, right? I think I'll start with the Han/Leia stuff and see how it goes from there.

Yeah, Courship and Tatooine Ghost pretty much focus mostly on Han and Leia. If you read those and still want more, I recommend Heir to the Empire by Timmothy Zahn (book 1 of a trilogy) and working your way up. It has Luke, Han and Leia, plus lays the groundwork for future books/storylines and characters (for example, this is the book where Leia is pregnant with her twins who play a vital role in future SW books).

I havent read many new republic books, mostly I've read the legacy of the force and the Fate of the Jedi series from that era.

But there was one called survivors quest by Timothy Zahn which is a pretty good Luke oriented book.

Yeah but I wouldn't recommend reading that before at least reading the Thrawn trilogy especially to someone who isn't as familiar with SW expanded universe.

I second this about Tatooine Ghost:

There's something special about holding a book in your hands.

I still have Choices of One sitting on my bookshelf, waiting to be read.

When I can't find the books I'm looking for in my local bookstore I can usually find them for a cheap price on Amazon from sellers where the actual book comes in through the mail. I agree that I prefer an actual book as opposed to reading it on a kindle. In fact both of the books you are referring to are currently available used on Amazon for four dollars (and that's including shipping and handling)

Same here, on both statements.

I'll read it early in the new year. Right now I am starting Zombies vs Unicorns.
Then I am reading
- The Night Circus
- The Casual Vacancy
- Madness Underneath
